Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development, excellent working knowledge of AWS cloud services, and exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools. The candidate should be capable of developing automation solutions, creating pipelines, debugging failures, and supporting application teams with deployment issues in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications and automation solutions using Java and Python.
  • Design, create, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
  • Debug pipeline and deployment failures and provide technical support to application teams.
  • Develop and support cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
  • Apply DevOps principles, source control, and release management practices.
  • Work with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, and Nexus to support software delivery.
  • Support security and vulnerability scanning activities using tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, and engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve deployment processes.
  • Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
  • Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Monitor application and deployment environments and support observability initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of development experience in Java and Python.
  • Must have experience in the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps principles, source control, and release management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, or Nexus.
  • Exposure to security vulnerability scanning tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform.
  • AWS Certification.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
