Our client is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their rapidly growing IT department in Vereeniging . You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our client's cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker ) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools.
