Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes) to support the delivery, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based services within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud resources, deployments, and platform reliability while contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud-native services. Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps tooling is essential.
What you will do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Deploy and support applications using Docker and Helm.
- Administer AWS cloud resources, including RDS, Lambda, and Amazon S3.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Migrate CI/CD pipelines between platforms, including Jenkins to alternative CI/CD solutions.
- Perform infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
- Deploy applications to test and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes platform issues.
- Manage infrastructure-related operational activities.
- Configure and maintain Vault secrets management.
- Administer security certificates across platform environments.
- Monitor platform performance using Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Support Linux-based infrastructure and systems.
- Manage source code repositories using Bitbucket.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve platform stability, automation, and deployment efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
