Senior DevOps engineer in Singapore who designs, builds and maintains AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation, GitLab CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace), with emphasis on security, compliance and supporting government DevSecOps platforms like SHIP/HATS.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across greenfield and brownfield environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
- Support DevSecOps platforms including SHIP/HATS and infrastructure automation.
- Implement cloud monitoring, logging and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus or Dynatrace.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security, governance and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident response and service reliability.
- Work with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure initiatives.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and RHEL.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated or Government cloud environments is an advantage.
- Preferred: AWS certifications, Kubernetes/Docker experience and exposure to GCC environments.
