Job Overview

GSS Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & OpenShift) to join its Technology Engineering team in Dubai, UAE. This position focuses on enterprise-scale platform engineering within a highly regulated environment, supporting the design, automation, deployment, and continuous improvement of modern cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.


• Build automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm.


• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows.


• Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Podman.


• Enable platform onboarding through automation and self-service capabilities.


• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teams.


• Integrate DevSecOps tools throughout the software delivery lifecycle.


• Implement automated security validation, compliance checks, and vulnerability management.


• Develop automation scripts using Python, Groovy, and Linux Shell scripting.


• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.


• Monitor system performance using ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.


• Implement enterprise logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and engineering planning activities.


• Drive platform standardization, automation strategies, and continuous improvement.


• Support production environments while maintaining high platform availability.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

• Extensive hands‑on experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role.


• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale, high‑availability production platforms.


• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.


• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
