Senior DevOps Engineer

Platform Golden Path:

  • Build the golden path that will allow us to add new micro-services to our stack in a matter of minutes.
  • Improve existing automations (pipelines, IaC) to be able to release more often, with more confidence.
  • Migrate legacy pipelines.
  • Enhance the developper workstation
  • build our agentic platform providing AI capabilities to our clients

Reliability SRE practice:

  • Improve dashboarding and alerting using Instana / Grafana.
  • Help reduce toil by automating responses to recurrent requests.

Run the platform:

Shared incident response, platform maintenance on the various components. Day-to-day support for 8+ development teams.

Must have:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, platform or SRE roles, including real production ownership.
  • Kubernetes in depth. Workload scheduling, resource requests and limits, probes, disruption budgets, security contexts, ingress, and the ability to debug a failing rollout.
  • Helm and Kustomize. You have designed a chart that other teams depend on, and lived with the consequences. Or you have built Kustomize bases and overlays that several applications deploy from.
  • CI/CD pipeline engineering at scale. GitLab CI is strongly preferred. The transferable part is having built shared, versioned pipeline abstractions used by many repositories.
  • Docker image authoring: multi-stage builds, small non-root images, build caching, registries.
  • Infrastructure as code. Terraform and Ansible: roles and modules you wrote and maintained.
  • Automation in Python, Bash or other languages. Clean, tested, reviewable code. Part of this platform is Python / Bash scripting, and it is held to the same standard as application code.
  • Observability fundamentals. Metrics, logs and traces, how to use them, how to troubleshoot an app misbehaving.
  • Git and code review as a discipline. Trunk-adjacent branching, conventional commits, small reviewable changes.

Strongly desirable:

  • HashiCorp Vault and secret management patterns in Kubernetes.
  • Prometheus and Grafana as an author: PromQL, recording rules, dashboards as code.
  • Supply-chain security: SBOM generation, CI checks.
  • Kafka operations (topics, ACLs, consumer lag) and enough SQL, Oracle and MSSQL to be useful during an incident.
  • Jenkins pipelines knowledge.
  • Experience supporting Java / Spring Boot and Angular delivery specifically.
  • Working effectively with AI coding tools on real infrastructure code, as an accelerator you keep under review.
  • Experience defining and operating service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs) and alerting strategies.

What We Offer

  • Involvement in a strategic, innovation-focused project with strong business impact
  • Exposure to modern technologies and cloud-based architecture
  • Cross-border collaboration with teams in CER countries
  • A supportive and agile working environment
  • Opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced, high-impact area
