Senior DevOps Engineer

Project description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and observable software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong Scripting knowledge – Linux (bash/python), Groovy DevOps Tooling exposure – Azure CICD pipelines, Artifactory, Nexus, etc Containerization tools – Docker, Podman, OpenShift, K8s Configuration Management – Ansible Environment management exposure General Enterprise Technical Aptitude: networks, servers, load balancing, storage, etc Source Control tools – Git, etc Cloud – AWS/Azure
