Role Context

DevOps role within an aviation digital product team, operating under enterprise DevOps standards. The focus is on adopting and tailoring centralized CI/CD and platform standards to enable secure, observable delivery of containerized systems running on Red Hat OpenShift.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt and implement standard CI/CD pipelines and customize them for project requirements
  • Automate container builds and deployment processes (containers + Helm/OpenShift)
  • Deploy and scale containerized applications on OpenShift; support reliable releases and rollbacks
  • Collaborate with the central DevOps team to report gaps, suggest improvements, and align on best practices
  • Enforce security standards and manage secrets and credentials in compliance with enterprise policies
  • Implement centralized logging and metrics collection according to enterprise standards
  • Act as the bridge between the Digital Product team and the central DevOps team, ensuring smooth adoption of standards
  • Work with developers and automation testers to optimize deployment workflows (with interfaces to build/test where needed)
  • Identify and resolve project‑specific bottlenecks primarily in deployment workflows
  • Optimize platform and resource usage for cost efficiency and performance
