A Senior DevOps Engineer joins a leading UK online retailer on a permanent, remote (UK-based) basis, leading development, installation, and migration to Google Cloud Platform. Day to day involves GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, plus taking the lead on key projects and helping shape DevOps practices.
Our client, a leading online retail / eCommerce business, are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role requires an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who can take the lead in the development, installation, and migration to a Google Cloud Platform, supported by a developing wider team. As a Senior DevOps engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be heavily involved in progressing this organisations DevOps ambitions and helping to shape their future development practices. The role would be a fantastic position for someone looking to further their career in the DevOps space. Key requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a senior role although this is not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential.
- Previous experience of working with
- Good Kubernetes exposure
- Experience of CI/CD pipelines and practices
- You will also work well as part of a team, enjoy taking a lead role in development practices and have strong communication skills.
