Senior DevOps Engineer owning and scaling production infrastructure for a fintech platform in London: building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving observability and reliability of latency-sensitive systems, and hardening security. Core stack includes Linux, cloud (AWS advantageous), Terraform/Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.
In this Senior DevOps Engineer role, you will strengthen and scale production infrastructure for a fast-moving fintech-focused platform. You will partner with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD, automation, observability, and deployment tooling while improving reliability and performance for latency-sensitive systems. You’ll shape operational processes, tooling, and security controls, driving efficiency and resilience across the stack. This is a hands-on, ownership-focused role with tangible impact on how engineers ship and operate systems. You’ll join a compact, engineering-driven team where your improvements directly influence infrastructure and development workflows.

- Contribute to infrastructure security, access controls, secrets management and system hardening
- Identify reliability, performance and operational issues and drive improvements
- Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure in cloud environments
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation
- Experience designing monitoring, observability and alerting for production systems
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- AWS, Terraform or Ansible experience would be advantageous
- Experience with high-performance, high-throughput or latency-sensitive systems would be particularly valuable
