Senior DevOps Engineer
Summary
WE ARE META, a Portuguese IT staffing/consulting firm, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a hybrid (2x/week in Lisbon) client project role. Day to day: building and operating observability on the Elastic platform (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) with OpenTelemetry, plus Docker/Kubernetes workloads. Requires 5+ years of DevOps experience and fluent English.

What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
- Hands-on expertise in Elastic platform, including Beats, Elastic Agents, Logstash, Elasticsearch, and Kibana;
- Strong skills in OpenTelemetry standards
- Knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads and Rest API
- Fluency in English (B2/C1 Level);
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with security controls including authentication, RBAC, access management, and audit compliance within platform and infrastructure context is a plus;
- Fluency in Dutch and/or French (B2 level) is a plus;
Important:
This position is following a hybrid regime, 2x/week, in Lisbon. Candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit to be considered.
