We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale engineering transformation project for a leading German client.
You will work closely with development teams to improve platform reliability, automation, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on improving operational excellence, supporting cloud-native solutions, and helping teams adopt modern DevOps and SRE practices.
The position is fully remote within the EU with occasional travel to Nuremberg, Germany (approximately 5-6 days per year).

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- Experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.
- Experience supporting production environments and improving system reliability.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads.
- Ability to work closely with development and architecture teams.
- Fluent German (B2+) and good English communication skills.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), GKE, or EKS.
- Experience building internal developer platforms.
- Knowledge of SLI/SLO concepts.
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
- Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
