Summary
Senior DevOps & SRE Engineer role in Gauteng, South Africa (onsite). Responsible for designing Azure cloud infrastructure, IaC (Terraform, Bicep), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and SRE practices (monitoring, reliability) for mission-critical systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and Python/PowerShell.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Dev Ops & Site Reliability Engineer to join a team responsible for building and maintaining highly available, scalable, secure and automated technology platforms supporting mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain cloud-native platforms and infrastructure. Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) and automation solutions. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Drive SRE practices, including reliability, resilience, incident management and continuous improvement. Implement monitoring, observability and proactive performance management. Champion Dev Sec Ops, security and compliance across the delivery lifecycle. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Minimum Requirements 8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, Dev Ops or platform engineering. 5+ years of hands-on Dev Ops experience. 3+ years in SRE or production operations environments. Proven experience supporting mission-critical enterprise production systems. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
