Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop appropriate nutrition care plans for patients.
- Provide nutrition support, counselling, and education to patients and caregivers in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Apply evidence-based dietetic practices using current scientific research, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking.
- Assess and address health, social, and lifestyle factors that influence nutrition and overall wellbeing.
- Support integrated healthcare initiatives and preventive health programmes.
- Promote healthy lifestyle practices and empower individuals and communities to reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate community health and nutrition programmes in partnership with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of nutrition and dietetics services to improve patient and community health outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical dietetics experience.
- Requires JG12/13 with experience.
- Completed clinical dietetic internship in an approved institution.
- Passion for promoting health and wellbeing within patient and community settings.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic healthy meal preparation knowledge and skills.
- Strong analytical, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
