About the Role
The Director, Senior Enterprise Business Development is responsible for managing, implementing, and delivering enterprise-level strategy and vision for a portfolio of large-scale accounts within the commercial space. This role will utilize strong customer and partner relationships to drive the Enterprise Business Development Team to exceed annual sales targets. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with C-suite executives and senior leaders across sponsor organizations and CROs to grow and maintain strategic enterprise partnerships and identify expansion opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within assigned enterprise accounts, focusing on large-scale organizations and sponsors.
Lead enterprise-level strategy across assigned portfolio to enable the Enterprise Business Development Team to meet or exceed revenue targets, with focus on growth, account expansion, and strategic pipeline management.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of enterprise customer pipeline by portfolio, taking a methodical approach to enterprise sales activities including long-term strategic planning, enterprise-wide financial modeling, and global implementation pathways.
Develop, communicate, and implement enterprise-wide solutions and growth strategies aligned with customer digital transformation initiatives and long-term strategic objectives.
Leverage existing relationships and build new connections within enterprise accounts to identify and execute large-scale, organization-wide solutions and drive strategic account expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise customer initiatives, facilitate global implementations, and support complex business opportunities.
Represent Signant Health at major industry events and participate in enterprise-focused commercial activities to build brand awareness, maintain executive-level relationships, and identify strategic opportunities.
Execute responsibilities as assigned and required by Signant Health to support business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Essential:
Proven success in enterprise software sales or strategic account management, with experience selling complex technical solutions to C-suite executives within large pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.
Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, including ability to present enterprise-wide solutions and strategic vision at board and C-suite levels.
Extensive experience within the Clinical Research and Life Sciences industry, with emphasis on enterprise-wide implementations and eClinical solutions.
Strong business acumen with focus on enterprise outcomes, advanced analytical skills, and a strategic, innovative mindset.
Dynamic and adaptive approach to managing complex enterprise accounts and stakeholder relationships across global organizations.
Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite direction and strategic decisions, establish trusted advisory relationships, and execute high-impact decisions with courage and market insight.
Desirable:
Experience with enterprise-level CRM platforms (Salesforce) and strategic account planning tools.
Strong team leadership and executive coaching ability.
Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
