Senior District Sales Executive
As a Senior District Sales Executive, you will play a key role in growing our local business by acquiring new customers and ensuring high-quality account management. Your day-to-day activities will include a wide range of commercial responsibilities such as:
Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of prospects and customers within a defined geographic territory in the Belgian region.
- Identify new business opportunities, analyze competitors, and propose tailored international logistics solutions (transportation, customs brokerage, warehousing, etc.).
- Present value-added proposals, including logistics solution designs and cost-benefit analyses.
Customer Relationship Management
- Meet customers regularly on-site.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key contacts.
- Support the onboarding of new customers by introducing internal teams, building your global internal network, managing administrative processes, and ensuring smooth information transfer.
Follow-up & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and consistent commercial information within our CRM system.
- Participate in account reviews, communicate customer expectations to internal teams, and support problem-resolution efforts, including payment follow-up when necessary.
Training & Collaboration
- Participate in internal training programs to strengthen your sales skills and product knowledge.
- Work closely with local teams (customs, transportation, IT, etc.) and regional experts to develop tailored customer solutions.
Market Engagement
- Represent Expeditors at local professional networks and industry events as directed by management.
- Be prepared to contribute to additional assignments according to local or regional business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of customer logistics challenges, with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in transportation and logistics.
- Ability to analyze situations, propose strategic solutions, and react quickly.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology.
- Highly autonomous while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence others.
- Strong sales motivation, a competitive spirit, and a results-driven attitude.
- Strong hunter profile
