As a Senior Electronic FX Trading Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, focused on pioneering electronic FX trading platforms. You will help enhance trading systems that empower FX desks worldwide, driving efficiency and competitive advantage in a dynamic marketplace. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead analysis and implementation of enhancement requests from FX traders and sales teams to optimize trading workflows.
• Collaborate closely with front office teams, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues by parsing logs, executing SQL queries, and supporting development efforts with Python scripting when needed.
• Apply agile principles to continuously improve processes, ensuring seamless system updates and robust trading operations.
• Document business requirements and coordinate testing to deliver impactful system improvements.
• Maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, FX products, and electronic trading platforms.
• Act as a subject matter expert, managing projects independently and providing strategic insights.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 8 years of experience in financial markets, with strong knowledge of FX and electronic trading.
• Proficiency in SQL, Unix, and a technical aptitude for investigating system issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and front-office stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Python scripting or development experience.
• Certification or additional training in financial markets or Agile methodologies.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English.
