Security Clearance: Baseline Required
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing platform and cyber security team responsible for protecting a large-scale enterprise environment supporting critical government services.
You'll work across modern endpoint security platforms, Windows infrastructure, identity services, vulnerability management, privileged access, and security uplift initiatives. This role offers a genuine mix of operational support, platform engineering, and security improvement projects.
What You'll Be Doing
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days keeping the lights on.
You'll be helping shape and secure a complex enterprise environment by:
- Strengthening endpoint security and identity platforms
- Leading vulnerability remediation and security improvement initiatives
- Modernising Windows infrastructure and core services
- Responding to emerging cyber threats and security risks
- Working with leading technologies including Defender, Airlock, Intune and Entra ID
- Delivering solutions that directly support critical government services
You'll need to have:
- 5+ years' experience in endpoint security, systems engineering or infrastructure security
- Strong experience with Microsoft Defender and enterprise endpoint protection platforms
- Deep Windows Server administration skills
- Expertise across Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft System Center technologies
- Experience responding to vulnerabilities, incidents and security findings
- A practical, hands-on approach to solving complex technical problems
- Essential Eight or Australian Government cyber security experience
- Airlock Digital experience
- CyberArk or Privileged Access Management experience
- Red Hat Linux and Ansible exposure
- Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code or automation experience
- Experience working in regulated or government environments
- Long-term engagement (initial 6 months + extension options)
- Hybrid working environment
