Senior Engineer - Fiat Payment, Card
You will develop and maintain Java backend microservices for card issuing, authorization, settlement, and clearing. You will orchestrate transaction workflows with Temporal, optimize SQL schemas and queries for high-concurrency ledgers, use AI development tools, and deliver promotional, rewards, and card lifecycle features.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java backend microservices
- Manage transaction lifecycles with Temporal
- Design and optimize SQL schemas and queries
- Integrate AI development tools into coding testing and problem-solving workflows
- Deliver promotional campaign rewards and card lifecycle features
Requirements
- 1–3 years of backend engineering experience
- Java and Spring Boot proficiency
- Relational database and SQL proficiency
- Experience or understanding of Temporal or Cadence
- Fintech experience and knowledge of card transaction mechanics
- Experience using AI development tools
- Experience with card issuing processors or payment service providers is a plus
- Exposure to Docker Kubernetes AWS or GCP is a plus
