Senior Engineer - Payment & Wallet
You will design develop and maintain high-performance services that power payments and wallet infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems optimize transaction workflows and enhance platform reliability and scalability. You will also manage custody solutions for digital assets while ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, REST, AWS, and Docker
- Design and build high-volume APIs used by frontends and external traders
- Drive decisions related to the architecture of production systems and ensure long-term code quality
- Manage and maintain custody solutions for digital assets
- Ensure the highest level of security and compliance in handling and storing digital assets, cryptocurrencies, tokens, and digital records
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers during product development stages
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Understanding of good practices of building and working with APIs
- 5+ years of building scalable distributed systems with a strong background in Ruby, Go is a plus
- Comfortable with ambiguity and scoping solutions with teammates
- Organized, proactive and able to self-manage
- Knowledge of cryptography and security principles in blockchain as well as compliance and regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrency
