Responsibilities

  • Design the overall structure, levels, and learning pathways of Knacko’s English curriculum.

  • Develop learning objectives for each stage based on language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR.

  • Design courses covering vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and integrated language skills.

  • Break down English knowledge into mobile-friendly learning units, lessons, and practice activities.

  • Conduct research on common pronunciation, grammar, and language expression challenges faced by Chinese-speaking learners.

  • Research second language acquisition, memory retention, spaced review, practice methods, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Design different question types, speaking tasks, situational dialogues, and periodic assessments.

  • Establish standards for course content, difficulty levels, language usage, and quality assurance.

  • Review English example sentences, dialogues, explanations, exercises, and answer feedback.

  • Review and refine AI-generated English learning content.

  • Evaluate content accuracy, coherence, difficulty, and pedagogical effectiveness.

  • Continuously improve and iterate the curriculum based on learner performance, testing results, and learning outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Product, AI, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure the curriculum is accurately implemented within the App.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Degree in English Language Education, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, English Studies, Education, or a related field.

  • At least 4 years of experience in English curriculum design, textbook development, question bank development, or academic research.

  • Strong understanding of CEFR, second language acquisition, curriculum design, or language assessment.

  • Ability to independently design a complete English curriculum framework and learning pathway.

  • Excellent English writing, editing, and language judgment skills.

  • Good understanding of the English learning needs and common challenges of Chinese-speaking learners.

  • Ability to translate educational theories and teaching methodologies into practical and engaging digital learning content.

  • Strong logical thinking and attention to detail, with a high standard for content quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on language-learning Apps or EdTech products.

  • Experience developing adult English or English speaking courses.

  • Experience in digital textbook, question bank, or language assessment product development.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted curriculum/content production and content quality review.

  • TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or other relevant professional qualifications.
