We are seeking an authoritative DevOps Architect to define the strategic blueprint, governance, and automation frameworks within a highly regulated financial ecosystem. In this principal role, you will act as the ultimate Subject Matter Expert (SME) for modern DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipeline design, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). You will bridge the gap between development and infrastructure, championing continuous integration and delivery practices to drastically accelerate enterprise-scale software deployments and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain the enterprise DevOps blueprint. Establish rigorous architectural standards and implement robust governance processes for all continuous integration and continuous deployment initiatives.
  • Architect highly scalable continuous build environments utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Transform traditional software and infrastructure deployment processes into fully automated, seamless continuous pipelines.
  • Serve as the domain SME for enterprise DevOps tooling (explicitly including GitHub Enterprise, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, and Ansible). Evaluate, design, and integrate advanced process automation solutions to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Champion DevOps adoption across the organization. Partner collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders to streamline workflows and integrate industry-best DevOps practices into the broader IT operating model.
  • Continuously evaluate the technology landscape (including Cloud, Distributed Ledger Technology/DLT, and emerging FinTech innovations) and provide expert strategic recommendations on integrating next-generation DevOps tools.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of robust IT infrastructure and engineering experience, with at least 5 years acting in a dedicated Architectural capacity. Background in a tier-1 financial institution is highly preferred.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in designing complex CI/CD pipelines and executing automation via tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Sonatype, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Strong command of Linux/Unix system administration and advanced scripting capabilities utilizing Python, Golang, NodeJS, Ruby, or shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of modern cloud computing architectures; familiarity with FinTech initiatives and DLT is a distinct advantage.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
