We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Statutory Audit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statutory audits and a solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role involves participating in audit planning, coordination, scoping, and handling the audit of the Financial Statement Line Items (FSLIs) assigned.

  • Participate in audit planning, including the coordination and scoping of audit activities.
  • Handle the audit of assigned Financial Statement Line Items (FSLIs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Ensure that all financial reporting complies with IFRS or applicable standards.
  • Assist in the execution of statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit processes.
  • Handle all audit queries related to statutory audits and IFRS compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed audit documentation and reports, ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in IFRS and statutory audit practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in statutory auditing and financial reporting, with a strong focus on IFRS.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory audit processes and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
