SENIOR EXECUTIVE, FINANCE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Account Executive cum RCM Executive is responsible for assisting the Accountant/Finance Manager to monitor the operations of Account Unit and RCM.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To handle full set of account of the company.
- Monthly submission of Financial Report to Accountant/Finance Manager.
- Monthly submission of Financial Report to KPJHQ.
- To liaise with auditor and tax agent for various stationary compliances, taxation computation and audit processes.
- Monitoring and controlling for Account Payable.
- Prepare all the direct payment/ PO payment / urgent payment.
- Liaise with CPS regarding central payment issues.
- Prepare payment listing for release to authorisers.
- Register new suppliers in the systems.
- Prepare monthly AP reconciliation.
- Monitoring and controlling Cash Management.
- Monitoring and controlling petty cash/cash advance/claims.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for banks/Card/Cheque/Jompay outstanding Checking and monitor daily SRL reconciliation.
- Liaise with banks (update personnel/update signatories/bank access).
- Perform any other duties as and when required by the management.
- Able work under minimum monitoring and with tight due date.
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Managing the entire revenue cycle from patient registration to final payment.
- Analysing financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Implementing strategies to optimize revenue generation and reduce revenue leakages.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with pricing, coding and billing regulations.
- Providing staff training on accurate coding practice.
- Contributing to the hospital’s financial health and adherence to industry standards.
- Perform any other duties as and when required by the management.
- Able work under minimum monitoring and with tight due date.
- Actively participate in any new services or initiatives introduced by the organization to ensure smooth implementation and contribution to hospital growth.
- Comply with all company policies, including health and safety policies, to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Ensure conformance to all relevant policies and procedures, including ISO standards (ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004), OHSAS 18001:2007, HALAL requirements, and the Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards.
- Always Adhere to Standard Service Practice (SSP) guidelines to ensure quality service delivery and patient care.
- Ensure full compliance with all legal requirements related to hospital operations.
- Uphold and implement processes that support the rights of patients and their families during care, regardless of age, race, language, religion, or social status.
- Adopt and practice the Patient Safety Goals as recommended by the World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008), contributing to continuous safety improvement measures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support the hospital’s operational and strategic goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/accountancy.
Experience Required:
- Minimum: At least 2- 5 years working experience, preferably in healthcare setting/environment.
