Senior Executive, Health, Safety, Security & Environment
Summary
Oversee workplace safety, health, security and environmental compliance for a manufacturing plant, ensuring ISO and statutory adherence through inspections, training, and corrective actions.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Head of HSSE in managing workplace safety, health, security and environmental compliance for the plant
- Serve as a member of the HSSE Committee and coordinate/schedule site inspections
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure safety procedures are properly implemented and adhered to
- Monitor, review and follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from HSSE inspections and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 audits
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with ISO management systems and statutory requirements
- Prepare and maintain HSSE data, reports and dashboards for monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions
- Conduct Safety Induction Training and other WSH-related in-house training for employees and contractors
- Review and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures when required
- Liaise with statutory bodies, contractors and relevant stakeholders on WSH-related matters
- Promote a strong safety culture and support continual workplace improvement initiatives
- Update safety records in internal systems
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of HSSE
Job Requirements
- Minimum Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Level B certification
- Preferably certified as Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager
- Minimum 5 years of relevant WSH experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment
- Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and applicable legal requirements
- Experience in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent and outcome-driven individual
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments
- Possess strong organizational and people management skills
