THE ROLEAs Senior Finance Manager for our Core Fund, you'll lead the finance control function for our Student Living and BTR operational assets - owning the integrity of financial reporting and compliance, cash flow management, and investor reporting across the fund.
You'll manage a team of accountants, actively driving improvement in reporting and controls, while working closely with the business, leadership and investors as a value-adding, commercial partner. Day-to-day you will be (but not limited to):
Owning the group month-end close and consolidation process, including detailed review of P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
Leading production of all financial reporting obligations, including internal, statutory and investor reporting
Managing quarterly distributions and cash flow forecasting, and working with Treasury on debt, hedge and interest positions
Developing and mentoring the finance team, and business partnering across operations, legal, marketing and corporate finance
Leading year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and investors
Driving continuous improvement across reporting, automation and finance processes
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Professionally qualified (CA/CPA) accountant
10+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally having started in a chartered firm
Experience working in the property funds management sector is essential
Strong experience in financial accounting, month-end close and finance ledger systems
Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting and dashboarding tools like Power BI or Tableau will be advantageous
Strong team management and talent development experience
A self-starter mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to see the big picture
