Senior Finance Process & Systems Analyst (Manufacturing Accounting)

The incumbent will be the subject matter expert and lead the optimization of systems and processes for Manufacturing Accounting.
Salary Range: $60,000 - 85,000
Location of Work: Dieppe, NB (100 Midland Drive) or New Annan PEI (25532 Main Highway #2)

- Serve as the primary business lead for Manufacturing Accounting systems, processes, and TM1 support across manufacturing operations.
- Partner with manufacturing, accounting, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve system and process challenges, and ensure effective day-to-day business support.
- Lead process improvement and optimization initiatives by conducting process reviews, identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, AI adoption, and operational efficiencies.
- Gather business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs and enhance financial and operational processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert on how systems, processes, and transactions interact across departments and impact manufacturing and cost accounting activities.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing accounting reports, analytics, and data governance practices to support business decision-making as it pertains to manufacturing accounting
- Drive change management activities, including communication, training, documentation, and user adoption, to support successful implementation of new processes and systems across multiple sites.
- Diploma or degree in accounting or finance. Accounting designation considered an asset.
- Proven experience in manufacturing and cost accounting, including financial reporting, analysis, transactions, and related business processes.
- Strong experience working with/within ERP systems, accounting principles, and financial processes, with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments and teams.
- Exposure to and interest in automation, AI, and technology-enabled solutions.
- Proven experience leading process improvement and optimization initiatives, including process mapping, documentation, automation, and system enhancements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial data analysis, data governance, and the ability to assess impacts across systems and processes while prioritizing competing demands.
- Strong change management, communication, and training skills, with the ability to support user adoption and standardization across multiple sites.
