Senior Fire Safety Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on fire alarm systems (FAS), sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems, smoke control setups, and emergency communications.
• Conduct functional tests, routine inspections, and commissioning verifications in compliance with local fire codes and standards.
• Diagnose complex system faults, analyze root causes of equipment failures, and execute prompt repairs to minimize downtime.
• Supervise junior technicians and coordinate external subcontractors during major repairs, upgrades, or statutory testing.
• Prepare detailed service records, maintenance logs, test certificates, and compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Provide critical technical support during on-site fire alarms, emergency incidents, or system malfunctions

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of commercial fire protection and alarm platforms.
• Industry-standard fire safety or alarm certifications
• Strong understanding of building safety regulations, proficiency with diagnostic tools/software, and clear communication abilities.
