Role: Senior Firmware Engineer
Department: R&D / Engineering
Help design the next generation of professional security systems protecting millions of buildings and businesses worldwide. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will own critical parts of our ecosystem, including integration with sub-GHz devices, cloud services based on secure connectivity, and EN50131 Grade 3 compliant solutions. Your decisions will directly influence product architecture, cybersecurity, performance, and production readiness of devices deployed globally.
What You'll Be Working On
Integrating modern cybersecurity features into embedded devices
Enhancing secure firmware update and bootloader mechanisms
Optimizing performance of embedded systems
Building product platforms shared across multiple devices
Solving real-time challenges in RTOS environments
Implementation of API
Responsibilities
Lead architectural decisions for critical firmware components and influence hardware design, communication protocols, and cybersecurity implementation across multiple product lines.
Define Everon product family integration logic for EN50131 Grade3 compliant devices,
Ensure the quality of the solution by working closely with the QA team and performing debugging and bug‑fixing activities
Support verification, validation, certification, and production processes with technical expertise.
Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams during development and troubleshooting.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and internal development guidelines.
Work with global engineering teams across time zones to ensure consistent implementation and knowledge sharing.

Must Have
Strong Embedded C experience
Cybersecurity background
Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
Knowledge of RTOS and bare-metal development
Experience debugging embedded systems
Fluent English
Nice to Have
Secure boot or secure firmware updates
RF/sub-GHz systems
EN50131 or security industry experience
