We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our Firmware team in our Global R&D and innovation center located in Kolding, Denmark. You will be responsible for creating firmware for an efficient, maintainable, and coherent product architecture.
What you'll be doing
Full lifecycle involvement in design, implementation, and validation of embedded C/C++ firmware for UPS Systems, Power Electronics and related secure power technologies
Adopt in-house best practice for code integrity and design validation including adhering to cybersecurity and functional safety requirements
Ensure that the integrity of the system and firmware architecture is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the product
Cross functional collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality firmware releases
What will help you succeed
A degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
Knowledge of digital control systems
Experience or knowledge in communication protocols, signal processing, and/or tool chains
Experience with embedded Linux, GIT, VHDL, Python, or FPGA is advantageous
Experience with embedded OT cyber security (e.g. CRA, IEC62443, NIS2, etc.)
Experience or understanding safety principles, architectures and/or safety requirement management considered a benefit
Previous involvement in the development of innovative and groundbreaking digital products is also advantageous
Strong organizational skills, focused and detail-oriented approach, well organized and structured with the ability to work effectively against deadlines
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
