Senior Front End Developer
Summary
Senior front-end engineer on Ticketure's remote New Zealand team, building accessible customer and staff experiences for its multi-tenant ticketing platform used by museums and attractions. Day-to-day work centers on TypeScript, Vue and CSS, with Figma/Storybook, shared components, CI/CD and test suite contributions.
If you’ve visited some of the leading museums, attractions and cultural venues across the US and UK, there’s a good chance you’ve already interacted with our technology.
Ticketure powers ticketing for some of the world’s most iconic cultural and entertainment attractions. More than $1 billion in ticket sales flows through our platform, connecting millions of people with experiences that entertain, educate and inspire.
We’re looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join our remotely based New Zealand engineering team and help us make those experiences even better.
This is engineering at real-world scale
You’ll be working on a production-hardened, multi-tenant ticketing platform where reliability, performance and great customer experiences genuinely matter.
And you won't be waiting weeks to see your work make a difference:
The code you push can be in front of tens of millions of people that same day.
Our monorepo CI/CD pipeline runs in around 10 minutes.
We average more than eight production deployments every business day.
That combination of scale and speed means we care about good engineering judgement. We want to move quickly, but we also need to build software we can be confident in.
What you'll do
You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to shape solutions and take them through to production. You will have an impact on how our product is shaped - we want you to understand and own the problem, ask good questions and help determine the right solution.
Your typical day includes:
Building great accessible, customer and staff experiences using TypeScript, Vue and CSS
Working with Figma and Storybook to turn designs and shared components into polished product experiences.
Making pragmatic technical decisions, balancing customer value, quality, maintainability and delivery speed.
Contributing to our technical standards, patterns and shared LLM skills and rules library.
Collaborating with engineers and client-facing teams to solve problems and deliver great outcomes.
What you bring
You’re an experienced Front End Engineer with strong TypeScript skills, ideally with experience in Vue or a similar modern framework.
We’re looking for someone who:
Takes ownership - you care about solving the problem, not just completing the ticket.
Communicates clearly, including in writing. Stand-ups, PR descriptions, Slack and handover notes are how our remote team stays aligned.
Will contribute to maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline and our multiple test suites
Can navigate ambiguity, ask good questions and make sensible trade-offs.
Cares about quality without over-engineering.
Communicates risks and complexity early and brings others into decisions.
Collaborates well and takes responsibility for shared team outcomes.
Is curious about AI-assisted development and how it can make us better engineers.
If you care about building great software, have the right to work in New Zealand and want to join an engineering culture that values ownership, collaboration, pragmatism and customer impact, we’d love to talk.
