Senior Frontend Developer

Summary

Builds and maintains high-performance web apps using React/Angular/Vue, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern frontend tooling in a product team.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies.
Build reusable UI components and frontend architectures using frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Translate business and design requirements into efficient, user-friendly frontend solutions.
Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems.
Implement frontend best practices including state management, code quality, security, and performance optimization.
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior frontend developers.
Develop and maintain automated frontend testing using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability and user experience.
Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to development practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an added advantage.
5 to 10 years of experience in Frontend Development, UI Engineering, or Web Application Development.
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with frontend architecture, reusable components, state management (Redux, Context API, NgRx, Vuex), and design patterns.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, browser technologies, responsive design, and web performance optimization.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or React Testing Library.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of frontend security practices including OWASP, XSS, CSRF, and secure coding standards.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead frontend initiatives and deliver scalable, high-quality user interfaces in fast-paced environments.
