Senior frontend developer (web3 focus)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a strong focus on Web3 technologies to join their expanding, fully remote team. You will be responsible for building intuitive and engaging user interfaces for decentralized applications, bridging the gap between traditional web development and the burgeoning world of blockchain. This role involves working closely with designers, backend developers, and blockchain engineers to create seamless user experiences for d Apps, wallets, and other crypto-native platforms. You'll have the opportunity to shape the user-facing aspects of innovative blockchain products and contribute to a culture that values creativity and technical excellence in a remote-first setting.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces for decentralized applications (d Apps). Integrate frontend applications with blockchain networks and smart contracts using libraries like Web3.js or Ethers.js. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, engaging interfaces. Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and user experience. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user journey across various devices and browsers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 2 years focused on Web3 and blockchain integration. Expert proficiency in modern Java Script frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and HTML/CSS. Experience with Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js) and interacting with blockchain nodes (e.g., via RPC). Solid understanding of cryptocurrency wallets , transaction signing, and smart contract interaction from a frontend perspective.
