Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

• 5+ years in Java, Kotlin, Spring, Hibernate, and NodeJS development
• 5+ years building web applications with React and Redux
• 3+ years deploying services on AWS including S3, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, and IAM
• PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB and relational database development
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Python
• Docker
• NoSQL databases, ideally Elastic Search
• Working knowledge of Kotlin
• Experience working on Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective activities
• Deliver front-end and backend modules for the Document Services Team
• Develop front-end and backend code using React, Java, Kotlin, Spring, NodeJS, and Hibernate
• Manage AWS resources in a safe and cost-effective manner
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality of team deliverables
• Design and implement unit, integration, system, performance, and load testing
