Position Responsibilities

• Work on developing Aon products by implementing, testing, debugging, analysing, reviewing and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, testers, devops and project managers by providing technical expertise and guidance.

• Contribute to the design & architecture of digital solutions and recommending the most suitable technologies and frameworks.

• The implementation and integration of digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.

• Contribute to architecture, process and quality improvement discussions.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in digital technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization's digital ecosystem.

• Support production deployments.

• Engage in ongoing professional development.

• Advocate the usage of AI tools to improve software delivery throughput and quality.

Position Requirements

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Important:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a developer in the technology industry - minimum 5 years of experience.

• Strong knowledge of digital technologies, including web development, APIs, databases.

• Proficiency in programming languages, design pattern frameworks & scripting

  • NET Core 8-10 (LTS)

  • MSSQL

• Experience in modern web UI JS framework

  • Angular

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

  • JIRA, Confluence

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Adaptability and open to new technology as part of application technical stack evolution.

Good to have:

• CI/CD cloud deployment experience

  • Azure DevOps Pipelines

• Exposure to insurance (eg. placement, policy, claims, underwriting, billing) or the broader financial services systems.

• Understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments (e.g. insurance or financial services).

• Experience working in virtual, distributed teams across multiple countries, using modern collaboration and video‑conferencing tools.
