Senior Full-Stack Developer (Cloud-Native Web Applications)
About the Role
A public-sector digital transformation programme is looking for a senior full-stack developer to support the development and enhancement of modern web applications hosted on AWS.
This is a hands‑on engineering role suited for developers with strong Next.js, Type , and cloud deployment experience who enjoy working across both frontend and backend components in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and Type .
- Build reusable React components and responsive user interfaces.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Support deployment and maintenance of applications on AWS.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployment workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to deliver production‑ready features.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 7 years relevant software development experience, with strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and Type .
- Experiences with Node.js and RESTful API integration will be mandatory
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, or CloudFront is also a must
- Familiarity with Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of Git‑based development workflows.
- Any exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, or AWS CDK, monitoring and logging tools or AI‑assisted development tools or coding assistants will be advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Experience delivering production‑grade enterprise applications.
- Strong hands‑on coding capability and practical cloud deployment experience.
- Good problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
