Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full stack feature development across front-end (React, Next.js) and back-end (Node.js or equivalent) — approximately 75% of the role
- Own and maintain AWS infrastructure: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and related services
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar)
- Manage environment configuration across development, staging, and production; enforce environment parity best practices
- Monitor application performance and infrastructure health; respond to incidents and implement preventive measures
- Manage infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK)
- Implement security best practices: IAM roles, secret management, VPC configuration, and vulnerability patching
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards set by the Principal Full Stack Developer
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain operational runbooks
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full stack development skills
- Solid front-end experience with React and Next.js
- Strong back-end proficiency: Node.js, Python, or similar
- Hands‑on AWS experience across core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a production environment
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Understanding of containerization with Docker; experience with ECS or Kubernetes a plus
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals in cloud-hosted environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling: Datadog, CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar
- Familiarity with CDN configuration and web performance optimization
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury consumer digital platforms
- Knowledge of database management: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB
