We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract opportunity with a leading banking organization in Toronto. The successful candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies while working in a regulated banking environment.

Must-Have Skills

· 8 years of Full Stack Development experience
· Mandatory Banking / Financial Services experience
· Angular, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6 )
· Node.js, NestJS, Express.js
· GraphQL and REST API development
· Microservices architecture
· MongoDB and PostgreSQL
· Docker, AWS, OpenShift/Cloud Foundry
· CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
· Agile/Scrum delivery model
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
· Build modern web applications and APIs using Angular/React and Node.js technologies.
· Develop and support GraphQL, REST services, and microservices.
· Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams.
· Participate in application modernization, upgrades, and cloud deployments.
· Ensure compliance with banking security and governance standards.
· Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

· AI-assisted development tools and developer productivity platforms
· LaunchDarkly, Snyk, and developer tooling experience
· VS Code extension development
· Nginx, Apache, and container platform monitoring
· Real-time applications and WebSockets
· SaaS platform development experience
