The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Programmer to join our Kuala Lumpur development team. This is a hands-on senior role. Reporting to our Senior Development Lead in KL, and working closely with our CTO in Brisbane, you will work with the Brisbane development team to build and improve:
- Website features and checkout flows
- Internal tools that keep the business running
- Integrations with the systems that manage stock, orders, and customers
What You Will Do
- Lead delivery of website features, internal tools, and system improvements
- Write clean, reliable PHP code and review work from other developers
- Troubleshoot production issues and own fixes from diagnosis through to deployment
- Contribute to improving our development practices, code quality, and release process
Non-Negotiables (Must Haves)
- Senior-level PHP developer with strong hands-on coding ability
- Minimum 7 years of senior-level PHP development experience required
- Solid understanding of modern PHP frameworks and backend architecture
- Proven track record of shipping reliable code at pace in a production environment
- Comfortable working across the full lifecycle: scoping, building, testing, and deploying
- Clear and direct communicator who can work well with remote teammates
- Office based in KLCC, Monday to Friday
Great If You Also Have
- Experience helping to build or scale a development team
- Exposure to e-commerce, high-traffic websites, or product-based businesses
- Experience integrating with ERPs, CRMs, or inventory systems
- A knack for simplifying complex problems and explaining them in plain language
