Senior Full-stack Developer - Python/FastAPI & React/TypeScript

We are creating a new product in a multi-cloud setup and are seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer to drive backend and frontend delivery. You will build with Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and heavy Databricks usage while optimizing performance. Apply today.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain web applications with Python/FastAPI and SQL
• Architect APIs and integrations to support high-load database workloads
• Improve query performance throughout production systems
• Deliver UI work using TypeScript and React
• Apply GenAI engineering tools to streamline and improve developer workflows
• Partner with teammates while owning and completing independent assignments
• Share progress proactively with stakeholders and the wider team
• Drive feature ownership and add value beyond ticket-by-ticket execution
• Deliver outcomes despite ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements

• Extensive experience of 5+ years delivering production systems with Python, FastAPI, and SQL
• Deep understanding of web app development, API architecture, and integration patterns
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-load databases and improve query performance
• Comfort with TypeScript and React plus willingness to work end-to-end full-stack
• Hands-on use of GenAI engineering tools, ideally Claude Code
• Clear communication skills with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach
• Ability to handle uncertainty and execute without constant direction in a transparent, fast-moving startup environment
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience across TypeScript, React, Next.js, Storybook, Playwright, Radix UI, and Zustand
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and OpenSearch
• Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and supporting tools
• Experience handling data via PySpark and SparkSQL
• Client-facing experience
