Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer (MERN) with strong hands-on experience building production‑grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 5–6+ years of professional full-stack development experience and be comfortable taking ownership of features from frontend and backend development through deployment and optimization.

You will work across MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, contributing to system architecture, API development, integrations, performance optimization, and overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security using JWT, OAuth, RBAC, and related best practices.
• Build clean, reusable, and responsive UI components using React.js.
• Develop efficient frontend logic and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including payments, notifications, payroll, and identity verification.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and cloud deployments.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, production issues, and system performance bottlenecks.
• Take ownership of features from concept through development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / ES6+.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, API lifecycle, and system design.
• Strong backend architecture and server‑side development skills.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, version control, and clean coding practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with international teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with WebSockets.
• Experience working with queues and schedulers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Experience working in startups or building scalable SaaS platforms.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.

Compensation
