Senior Full-Stack Engineer — AI-Powered Biotech Platform

Philogen S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to own the platform, infrastructure, and production deployments. You will work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, frontend applications, identity, authorization, data systems, and AI environments.

The role emphasizes Python and TypeScript expertise, Kubernetes experience, and a focus on secure, auditable, production-ready software in a regulated environment. Milano-based, full-time position.

Build and operate Python services, APIs, CLIs, and full-stack workflows using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Provision and run GCP and Kubernetes infra via Pulumi. Build secure AI agent execution environments. Integrate model providers and agent SDKs. Implement authentication, RBAC, least-privilege controls. Own production reliability across app and infra. Design and ship agent-driven user experiences. 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience in production environments. Strong Python and TypeScript skills and ability to work across frontend and backend. Experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform (GCP or AWS). Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform. Experience designing authentication, authorization, RBAC and audit-sensitive workflows. High daily engagement with modern AI development tools.
