Senior full-stack engineer owning features end-to-end for iwoca's small-business credit card — mostly backend in Python/FastAPI with PostgreSQL, plus React/TypeScript web and React Native mobile. Work spans card transactions, cashback, spend controls, and card lifecycle, with AI-assisted development using Claude Code.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will own features end-to-end for iwoca’s business credit card, spanning data models, APIs, and frontend; you’ll predominantly work on the backend with Python and FastAPI while delivering customer-facing frontend in React/TypeScript. You will shape the next wave of card features, collaborating with product and design to solve real cash-flow and spend-control challenges for small businesses. Expect rapid releases that impact card usage, cashback, and security, backed by AI-assisted development. This role offers a chance to influence core fintech products at scale in a cross-functional, growth-focused team.

- Develop frontend features in React/TypeScript for the web, and React Native for the mobile app
- Define data models and data flows from concept to production, including testing, release, and monitoring
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to ship customer-facing features
- Work on card transactions, cashback, spend controls, and card lifecycle features
- Contribute to AI-driven engineering practices and review AI-generated code using Claude Code as part of feature development
- Backend engineering experience with well-tested Python services for customer-facing products
- Design of relational data models and API integration

- Product ownership experience from idea to production and live monitoring
