Summary
We are looking for a Senior Tools Software Engineer to lead the development of the Tools Platform. As a core engineer, you will lead the development of complex tooling systems and their core modules. You'll use AI and other technologies to build a creative content management platform. You'll report to the Technical Director of the Tools Team. This job is onsite in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
Understand the content operations workflows, lead requirement discussions and communication with external partners, promote the feature planning for the tools platform;
Design the technical framework for the tools platform based on requirement planning and business development;
Lead the team in developing cross-service tools platforms, coordinate with team members and partners to deliver the products, and systematically maintain the stability of the systems;
Promote best practices in design, coding, and related areas within the team, mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities;
Develop technical documentation, communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners, and facilitate business-technical trade-offs;
Use AI and other latest technologies to innovatively enhance the functionality and efficiency of content operations tools;
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
8+ years of professional software development experience related to game operations platforms;
Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (C++ or Java preferred);
Experience leading the development of a game operations system or tools system with technical leadership and coordinate teams to deliver complex technical projects;
Experience with the capability to clarify ambiguous requirements step by step, plan technical direction, and reach goals with relevant teams;
Solid foundation in software engineering, with a certain depth of expertise in at least one core technical area, such as distributed systems and microservice architecture, cloud computing platforms, or multimedia content processing platforms;
Proficient in a relational or non-relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Proficient in deploying code in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, etc.) and version control tools (Git, P4, etc.).
