Senior Full Stack Engineer - Finance Domain

Open 7d

Summary

Build and shape HEMA’s finance backend using TypeScript, AWS serverless, Kafka, and Kong; lead architecture for scalable services like reconciliation and AI integrations.

the challenge

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in our Finance domain, you will work on our AWS serverless systems. You will collaborate with HEMA developers, partner teams, Product Owners, Business Owners, and IT Analysts across different domains. As we build our internal engineering organization, you will play a key role in shaping our technical direction and establishing our engineering culture and practices. You will work on challenging projects to build the future‑proof finance backend of HEMA, building scalable finance backend services such as a reconciliation service and setting up integrations with new finance applications. Our tech stack centers on TypeScript and AWS serverless infrastructure. We are actively exploring AI capabilities with AWS Bedrock and similar services, taking our first steps in applying AI to feature development and operations. We use Apache Kafka for event‑driven architecture and KONG for API management. Experience with service‑oriented, API‑first, and headless systems is highly preferred. Innovation is our lifeblood; we are always searching for the most efficient solution to support our business teams in serving our customers.
