Senior Full Stack Engineer - £600/650 Outside IR35
Summary
Contract (outside IR35) Senior Full Stack Engineer for a leading UK financial services organisation, owning delivery of customer-facing digital products end to end on Azure. Day-to-day: building frontend, backend, APIs and cloud services with TypeScript/React and .NET/Node.js/Java/Python, plus Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
We're supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a product-focused team building customer-facing digital solutions. Experience within Insurance, InsurTech, FinTech, Banking, or another regulated industry is highly desirable.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of delivery across the full software lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment, optimisation and support, working with modern cloud-native technologies on Microsoft Azure.
Key Requirements
- Strong full stack engineering experience
- TypeScript and React (Angular or Vue also welcome)
- Backend development with .NET, Node.js, Java or Python
- REST APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture
- CI/CD, automated testing and DevOps practices
- Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
- Experience delivering customer-facing products in agile environments
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and deploying scalable, secure applications
- Working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams
- Developing across frontend, backend, APIs and cloud services
- Driving engineering best practice and technical quality
- Contributing to architecture and mentoring where needed
