Senior Full Stack Engineer — Python / FastAPI

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Python and FastAPI skills to join a collaborative, fully remote squad building an AI-powered product on AWS.

This is a backend-heavy full stack role: most of your time goes to API services and LLM integration.

The team values people who are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating directly with product, design, and client stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and deliver API services using Python and FastAPI

• Build and integrate LLM-powered features using Amazon Bedrock

• Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability

• Deploy and run services on AWS, including ECS Fargate

• Make occasional changes to a REST-backed static frontend as needed

• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead and Data Engineer on data modeling and performance involving Snowflake

• Manage integrations with external APIs and platforms, ensuring secure, well-structured connections

• Apply performance, reliability, and security best practices throughout the stack

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across product, design, and client teams

What we're looking for

• Strong, proven experience with Python and FastAPI in production environments

• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI services, particularly Amazon Bedrock

• Solid experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses

• Solid experience building and integrating REST APIs

• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS (ECS Fargate, IAM)

• Strong API integration experience

• AWS proficiency

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and make thoughtful technical decisions

Nice to have

• Experience in the education sector, or in other highly regulated or rules-heavy domains (e.g., compliance, finance, healthcare, govtech).

• A strong eye for quality and performance
