Senior Full-Stack Engineer — Remote & API Platform

WeHunt is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a fast-growing insurance scale-up. This fully remote role offers an opportunity to own end-to-end development across the stack from Italy, delivering scalable APIs and responsive interfaces.

Tackle complex technical challenges and provide efficient, maintainable solutions. Develop and evolve the platform and architecture, ensuring quality and best practices. Drive continuous improvement of team operations through knowledge sharing. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Utilize HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks to build responsive UIs. Manage and optimize SQL databases (Postgres/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB). Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines. Leverage Docker for development containers and cloud services like AWS. 4/5+ years in a senior role in software development. Deep knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript. Proficiency with React. Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. Experience in writing unit and integration tests. Good knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres or MySQL). Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub. Familiarity with Docker and container management. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of Jest/Mocha and microservices is a plus.
