ThoughtStorm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer in Toronto to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise applications using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Azure SQL, DevOps CI/CD), with desirable ESRI ArcGIS integration experience and required domain exposure to soil management/agricultural systems.
- Seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing and delivering enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot 2.5+, Angular 2+, HTML5 and RESTful APIs is mandatory.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines and CI/CD is required.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure App Service Plans and Java backend development, is essential.
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Portal/Survey123 and RESTful API integration with ESRI is highly desirable.
- 1+ year of Java development experience supporting soil management/agricultural systems is specifically required.
- Experience with APIM, application configuration, technical design, unit testing and release deployments is required.
- Knowledge of AODA, secure software development, privacy and OPS/I&ITS standards is important.
- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and providing solution/design recommendations is expected.
