Senior Full Stack Developer
Web applications, APIs and AI-assisted product engineering

ABOUT DEEPLABS

Deeplabs is a technology innovation and research company based in Ahmedabad, focused on artificial intelligence, intelligent automation and software engineering. We design, build and deliver AI-first software products for enterprise customers, and we are growing a small, high-ownership engineering team to do it.

THE ROLE
You will design and build modern web applications end to end, from responsive, accessible user interfaces to the APIs and databases behind them. You will also help build reusable project templates and AI-assisted development workflows that let the team ship quality software faster. This is an early-team role with real ownership of features, code quality and engineering standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Frontend development
Build responsive, accessible web interfaces in Angular or React with TypeScript.
Develop dashboards, data views, review and approval screens, and role-based user experiences.
Manage application state, forms, validation and real-time notifications.

Backend and integration
Design and build REST APIs and backend services (Node.js or Python).
Model data and write efficient queries in PostgreSQL.
Integrate third-party tools and internal systems such as ticketing, CRM and notification services.
Implement authentication, role-based access control and audit logging.

Templates, automation and AI-assisted development
Create and maintain reusable project templates (for example Next.js + FastAPI + PostgreSQL).
Use and integrate AI coding assistants to speed up development, with human review of every change.
Set up CI checks so tests, linters and security scans must pass before code is merged or deployed.

Engineering quality
Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests for everything you ship.
Take part in code reviews, sprint planning and demos; keep technical documentation current.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and reliability.

WHAT YOU BRING
4-5+ years of full-stack engineering across web frontend, backend APIs and databases.
Strong Angular or React with TypeScript, including state management and API integration.
Backend experience with REST/JSON APIs and a relational database such as PostgreSQL.
Accessible UI development and frontend testing.
Strong testing habits: unit, integration and end-to-end (for example Playwright or Cypress).
Comfortable with Docker containers, Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to code generation, scaffolding tools or AI coding agents.
Clear communication, ownership of outcomes and a habit of learning fast.

NICE TO HAVE
Hands-on use of coding agents such as OpenHands, Aider or similar.
React Native or Flutter mobile experience.
Experience building internal developer platforms or app builders.
Exposure to healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) or other regulated domains.
